Learning Center

Children attend our program to meet a variety of needs.  We offer corrective instruction for  academic skills including reading (decoding and comprehension), writing (handwriting mechanics and written expression) and math (basic skills and problem solving).  We also address basic language, communication, social and self-help skills.  We believe learning should be fun, so we are committed to using the most effective and non-coercive teaching methods.  Our personal experience has shown that when learners are successful, they are more confident and enjoy the challenges we present to them, even after a full day of school.

Instruction is delivered on a 1:1 basis by our highly skilled staff.  Our students make measurable gains in most practiced skill areas during each session.   Parents receive a session summary showing the progress the child made during that day.

The program runs during the school year and during the summer.  We operate between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Most sessions are between 1 and 2 hours in length.  A minimum of 2 sessions per week is required in order to produce steady progress.
