Siblings Groups

Being the sibling of a brother or sister with special needs is a very demanding familial role. It requires understanding, patience, warmth, humor, and a great deal of love. That's quite a challenge. To help children address the difficulties and rewards of having a sibling with special needs, Achieve Fluency offers sibling workshops using therapeutic, evidence-based programs. The program provides opportunities to educate and learn how others handle situations commonly experienced by special needs children. It will also give attendees the chance to learn more about the implications of their sibling's special needs.
